NFL Street kicks off to retailers next week

EA SPORTS BIG announced that its arcade football action title NFL Street, featuring brute 7-on-7 arcade action, has gone gold today. It will take the tough stuff to retailers nationwide on January 14, 2004.

A license from the marketing and licensing subsidiary of the NFLAPA, PLAYERS INC., allows all-time legends from all 32 NFL sides line up on both sides of the ball. Featuring such greats as “The Refrigerator Perry,” Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Lawrence Taylor, Larry Csonka, and Kenny Stabler, these ballers of mythic proportions will battle out grueling games of pigskin on 8 different urban arenas—sand, dirt, mud, and turf lots.

NFL Street, developed by EA Tiburon, has been tacked on with an “E” for Everyone rating.
