Konami Digital Entertainment America announced today that it has shipped World Soccer
Winning Eleven 7 International to North American retail outlets for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system. "Winning Eleven 7 continues to push the boundaries of gameplay to create the best soccer simulation available, if not the best sports game," said Rob Goff, Product Manager at KDEA. "We strive to keep the Winning Eleven franchise the world's most realistic soccer game year after year, and the unprecedented additions and improvements we have made to this year's game clearly demonstrate that commitment."
The latest installment in the Winning Eleven series features more than 100 national and club teams, 21 rendered stadiums, and an enhanced franchise mode. Also included is a new graphics engine with hundreds of new player animations and realistic facial expressions.
