SCEA reveals new Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank sequels

Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) announced yesterday that sequels to Jak II and Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando will arrive exclusively for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system this fall. Both games are once again being developed by Naughty Dog and Insomniac Games respectively, while SCEA will publish the games in the North American market.

"We are delighted to continue our relationship with two of the most talented and imaginative development teams in the industry," said Ami Blaire, director, product marketing, Sony Computer Entertainment America.

According to SCEA, both franchises have sold more than one million units internationally to date. No specific features were revealed regarding the upcoming sequels, but Sony did release two high-quality images from Jak III, which can be viewed by clicking the link below.
