30.2 Million PS4s Sold Worldwide
Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that worldwide sales of the PlayStation 4 has reached 30.2 million units. This figure is acturate as of November 22, 2015, so it does not take into account the many PlayStation 4 units that will be sold during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which has every major retailer dropping the price of the PS4 Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection to $299.99 until the end of Cyber Monday.
The PlayStation 4 is the fastest selling Sony game console to reach this milestone. If this trend continues, the PS4 should have no trouble surpassing the 80+ million units sold by its predecessor, the PlayStation 3, by the end of its life cycle.
