True Crime: Streets of L.A. Cheat Codes

Master code:
Press Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, X at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. All bonuses will be unlocked. Note: This code also disables upgrade missions.

All upgrades:
Press Up, Left, Down, Left, Up, X at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

All unarmed upgrades:
Press Up, Down, Up, Down, X at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Note: Enabling this code will prevent the training missions from being accessible.

All driving upgrades:
Press Left, Right, Left, Right, X at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Note: Enabling this code will prevent the training missions from being accessible.

All weapon upgrades:
Press Right, Left, Right, Left, X at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Boost:
Hold Up and press X(3) at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Greater car mass:
While in a car, display the map screen. Press Down(3), X at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Lesser car mass:
While in a car, display the map screen. Press Up(3), X at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Show Nick's coordinates:
Press X, Circle, Square, Triangle at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Impound garage cars unlocked:
Press Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, X at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Play as Snoop Dog:
Press R1, L1, Up, Right, Left, Down, L3, R3, X, Square, Circle, Triangle at the map screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Immediately save the game before exiting to the main menu. Then, go to the mission selection screen and find a mission with Snoop's head at the top. Enter those missions to play as Snoop Dogg. To change back to Nick Kang, select a mission with Nick's head at the top.

Play as a bum:
Enter B00Z for a license plate. Note: Hold L1 + R1 when entering the letters and selecting "OK".

Play as a SWAT member:
Enter 5WAT for a license plate. Note: Hold L1 + R1 when entering the letters and selecting "OK".

Play as a commando:

Play as corpse:
Enter J1MM for a license plate. Note: Hold L1 + R1 when entering the letters and selecting "OK".

Play as Snoop Dogg:
Collect 30 bones during game play. Note: They are marked in yellow on the map.

Snoop lowrider hydraulics:
Press Left or Right while in the lowrider on a Dogg Patrol special mission to change the ride height.

Bonus FMV sequence:
Successfully complete the game with all three endings.

Enter symbols on license plate:
When entering your name on the license plate when starting a new game file, hold L1 + R1 and tap the D-pad Left or Right to input symbols.

Select car color:
When entering a name on a license plate, hold L1 + R1, and press Left Analog-stick Up or Left Analog-stick Down to change the color of the strip below the plate. The color you leave it on when you enter the name is the color of your car.

Control title screen:
Do the following at the title screen to the change the background. Press Right Analog-stick Left or Right Analog-stick Right to move the background horizontally. Press Right Analog-stick Up to advance time. Press L2 or R2 to change the color saturation.

Hint: Bandit Never Been Apprehended mission:
When the street crime mission is to bust the criminal "Bandit Never Been Apprehended" be ready to fire. Every time he pretends to surrender, he will fire. Note: If you do not want the Good Cop rating to go down, take out your guns and wait for him to pretend to give up and fire at you once, so that you have a reason to kill him.

Hint: Driving maneuvers:
The following maneuvers only work after they have been unlocked.

Peel out: Hold X + Square, then release Square.
Rapid stop: Press Left, Right, or Down + Square(2), then hold Square.
P.I.T. maneuver: Ram the rear corner of the car.
