Sunday August 25, 2002 Stores cannot keep up with demand for upcoming Network Adapter In a not so surprising outcome, many gaming stores have reported that they cannot keep up with demand for the PlayStation 2 Network Adapter. Ebgames.com says that they have sold out initial shipments of the adapter and that they expect a second shipment to arrive on September 13th. In addition, I spoke with an employee at GameStop and he told me that the Network Adapter has been "sold out" since late July. He then went on to say that Sony recently called and informed them that they might be short a couple Network Adapter units. If you didn't reserved a Network Adapter, your best bet to find one is to check stores like Best Buy -- which are getting their shipments on Thursday or Friday. Since they don't let you reserve items (unless you go online), you might be able to find one there. Or if you're really desperate, be sure to check out your local K-mart or Walmart stores. Good luck and hopefully I'll see you guys online later this week. -Matt C. Friday August 23, 2002 New Devil May Cry 2 Screenshots Capcom recently released some new screenshots from Devil May Cry 2.
