Metro3D recently sent us some screenshots and information from its promising off-road radio-controlled racing game called Smash Cars. In Smash Cars, you have to opportunity to take five toy cars through 13 open-ended levels from all over the world -- including Mexico, Russia, the Caribbean, Arizona, Hawaii and more.
Within each level, you will find giant animals, giant people, and giant objects to interact with. For instance, in one stage, you must be on the look out for a skateboarder because if you get in his way, he may run over your car. Levels will also be filled with secret shortcuts, boosts and jumps so that you can pull off some crazy stunts.
Smash Cars also offers the ability to upgrade your vehicle with prize money that you have earned during your racing career. With a total of 7 gameplay modes, including a 2-player mode via split-screen, Smash Cars should be a nice addition to the RC racing genre when it is released late March or early April. We'll post more information when it becomes available.
