Driving/Action Car combat games are still quite popular these days, so it comes to no surprise that Midway Games has announced RoadKill -- a mission-based, action driving game set in a post-apocalyptic world. According to Midway, the game is scheduled to ship in fall 2003 for the PlayStation 2 Computer Entertainment System. In RoadKill, players have the opportunity to unleash havoc in one of 30 available vehicles equipped with machine-guns, guided missiles, grenade launchers, and more. Aside for fighting rival gangs and city guards, RoadKill also requires players to establish/build their own gang. All in all, there are 30 core missions with additional side missions. Upgrading your vehicle with nitro, armor plating, and more is possible by collecting salvaged parts throughout the three main cities in the game -- Lava Falls, Blister Canyon and Paradise City. You can even promote riots by running over, impaling, and shooting both innocent and armed pedestrians in multiple ways. Midway released a total of three screenshots, which you can view below. More details about RoadKill at a later date.
