Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution By: Matt C. on December 20, 2003 Sega AM2 is currently hard at work on an updated version to arguably the best fighting game on the PlayStation 2. The PS2 version of Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution is based on Virtua Fighter Evolution Version B, which was released in Japanese arcades not too long ago. Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution will have two new characters -- Goh Hinogami and Brad Burns. The former is a Judo assassin and the latter is a kickboxer. New stages have been added as well, while the original VF4 stages have been revised and modified. We're not quite sure how many new stages there will be at this time. One new feature that looks interesting is the Quest Mode. As the name suggests, players will travel from city to city to battle various opponents throughout the world. Some of your opponents will even be Sega AM2 staff members. Along your journey, you'll be able to collect money that can be used to purchase new outfits, items, and other unlockable content that Virtua Fighter fans will surely appreciate. Lastly, Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution will include improved graphics, new moves, and better loading times. A North American release date is still unknown at this time, but we'll have more information on VF4: Evolution soon. Additional Media © Copyright 2003 PlayStation Pro 2 |
